Getting started

How do I add my artworks?

Open Archive in the top bar, upload your images and videos, and group them into bodies of work right there

How do I publish my website?

Click the settings cog next to your site address and switch the status to Live

How many works can I upload?

Up to 50 works on Starter and up to 500 on Stoodio Professional

How many bodies of work can I publish?

One on Starter, as many as you like on Stoodio Professional

Can I upload video?

Yes. Alongside images you can upload MP4, WebM and MOV files, up to 500 MB each

Can I keep some works private?

Yes. Toggle any work between public and private in your Archive. Private works stay off your public site

How do I show an exhibition, open studio or studio sale?

In the Portfolio, open Events and create one. Choose the type, add the details and publish. Events are included on both plans

Rooms

What is a Room?

A Room is a private selection of works you share with one client or gallery through a link. It sits apart from your public site and is hidden from search engines

How do I share a Room?

Open Rooms in the top bar and pick the works you want to show. Then send the link by email or WhatsApp, or just copy it

Can a Room expire?

Yes. Set an expiry date on the Room and the link stops working once that date passes

Can guests enquire about a work in a Room?

Yes. Switch on enquiries for the Room and guests get an Inquire button on each work. Every enquiry lands in your Contacts

Are Rooms available on Starter?

No. Rooms come with Stoodio Professional

Your website and domain

How do I change my site address?

Go to Settings then Domain to edit your yourname.stoodio.io address

Can I use my own custom domain?

Yes, on Stoodio Professional. Go to Settings then Domain and follow the steps to connect it

Plans and pricing

How much does Stoodio cost?

Starter is free forever. Stoodio Professional is £9.79 a month, or £93.98 a year, which works out at £7.83 a month

What are the limits on Starter?

Up to 50 works, one public body of work and a yourname.stoodio.io address. Events, contacts and newsletter sign-ups are all included

What's included in Stoodio Professional?

A custom domain, HD images, up to 500 works in your archive, public and private bodies of work and private Rooms for your clients

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

Open Settings then Plan and choose Stoodio Professional

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel whenever you like and keep your Professional features until the end of your current billing period

Selling and clients

Can I sell my work, and is it really commission-free?

Yes. Buyers enquire through your site and you sell to them directly. Stoodio takes zero commission on your sales

How do I send a portfolio to a client?

Share the link to your website, or to a single body of work. Every published body of work has a page of its own. On Stoodio Professional you can also send a private Room holding just the works you want that client to see

Where do my contacts come from?

People appear in your Contacts when they submit the contact form on your site, enquire about an artwork, sign up to your newsletter or register interest in an event. You can also add someone by hand

Can I collect newsletter sign-ups?

Yes. Stoodio captures email sign-ups from your site so you can build your list

Your data

Will my artwork be used to train AI?

No. Stoodio never uses your artwork or data to train third-party AI models or to replicate your style

How do I export all my data?

Send us a message with the Help form above and we'll send you a full export of your account data

How do I import or export my contacts?

Send us a message with the Help form above and we'll take care of it for you

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings then Account and choose Delete account. Your site, works and data are removed for good
